The Port of Harlingen Authority is seeking requests for proposals for a one (1) year lease of tillable land.

Deadline: Sealed bids are due Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 2:00
PM. Tillable land available as follows:

  • Tract 1 (Goetzke Property) 354.19 acres, more or less
  • Tract 2 (Berry Property) 180.7 acres, more or less
  • Tract 3 (Port North 23 Acres) 23 acres, more or less
  • Tract 4 (Port North 8 Acres) 8 acres, more or less

Request for Qualifications

The Port of Harlingen Authority (Owner), a navigation district and political subdivision of the State of Texas, hereby invites Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Progressive Design‑Build (PDB) services for the development and construction of a new railyard and associated rail infrastructure (Project).

Deadline: RFQ packets must be received by POH no later than 2:00 PM on August 10, 2026, to be considered.
